The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and interest in the qualities of the tin capsule to bloggers which can be passed on to their wide audience of readers. Six established wine and luxury bloggers attended the event in Paris during December, organised by Hémisphère Sud, who are leading the Pure Tin “mark of distinction” French campaign on behalf of PURE TIN®
Bloggers getting their first impressions of the Pure Tin Capsule. The Tin Capsule aims to start the consumer experience off on an extremely high note. The quality of the capsule immediately catches the eye while also assuring the consumer that they have an authentic product in hand.
Attendees compare the ease of opening bottles capped with a Pure Tin Capsule against a range of other wine capsule materials and types. Sommeliers note that “it is very important to make a clean cut at the lip of the bottle and with tin capsules it comes out much smoother”. This clean cut possible with tin alleviates the risk of cuts from jagged edges common with other capsule types.
